Erica Robinson is her mother who has confirmed the death of her daughter on her social media accounts where she shared the news regarding her death on the 3rd February. In the posting, Robinson declared her dead, saying that the 18-year-old had been shot, and she posted a picture of her daughter taken by her previous father. The two were sitting next to one another in matching red t-shirts and officers determined that Gatlin was shot at Barnes Street which is in Jackson and the whole incident occurred at about 8:40 PM on Thursday evening.
